CruiseCritic rates the Bliss 4 out of 5 stars, and the reviewer says the Bliss is a “beautiful vessel with a refined feel that you don’t normally find on a megaship. It feels like a big ship that's taken on the trappings of one that's smaller and more upscale.” They especially like the Observation Lounge, which dominates the entire forward section of the ship on Deck 15. Originally designed to serve as a focal point for cruisers during its Alaska sailings, its sole purpose is to serve as a space for cruisers to read, chat with new friends and even fall asleep. No games, lectures or seminars are held here. It doesn't transform into a nighttime disco. There's no stage for a small band to play. It’s truly just a lounge!
US News & World Report says the Bliss is the third best ship in Norwegian’s fleet. She has an elegant feel with upscale touches like those you’d find on a smaller luxury ship. The Observation Lounge is a perfect example of that.
Cruiseline.com raves about the adult only areas and the spa. They love the impressive activities and entertainment on board, and again site the balance of big ship qualities with small ship feel.
