We sail on the Carnival Horizon, launched just before covid so she’s still fresh and exciting. US News & World Report ranks her as the fourth best ship in Carnival’s fleet, and ThePointsGuy rates her as the nicest, most upscale ship in the fleet. They love that the Horizon offers a top-deck, adults-only Serenity sun deck area; an extensive menu of spa treatments, salon services and fitness classes at the onboard Cloud 9 Spa; and a handful of upmarket cabin offerings.
Our main hangout will be the Alchemy Martini Bar, where trained mixologists whip up concoctions on the spot—from the menu as well as newly created just for you! Afterhours, attend a stunning show in the grand Liquid Lounge (the main theater), or head to the Punchliner Club, featuring top-notch comedians, different every night. Or perhaps a lively evening in the Piano Bar 88.
We’ll be in the Gulf of Mexico (hot!), so during the day you’ll want to cool off at one of the several pools on board (one of which is in the Serenity Adult Only Retreat area—no kids, yay!). Now, if you’re feeling adventurous, check out Horizon’s new onboard water park with it’s two big water slides and other water features.
